 Run - InsPrint

This exercise requires a footwork ladder, although hurdles, spots, or donuts are an option as well.

Place a ladder on a relatively flat surface and then establish a starting line about 50 feet away. Have the athlete begin with a sprint and then quickly decelerate to run through the ladder. And, to solidify the “run-in” skill amidst the excitement of a little friendly team competition, you can also create a team relay. The only difference is that after running through the ladder, the athlete turns and sprints back to the starting line to tag a teammate who also runs the course.

Yet another variation is to have the kids run in and then run out to another pre-set turn-around line, before running back through the course again to tag a teammate.
